Renata’s version of the events of Trivia Night, ends with her screaming for an ambulance.
Jane driving, running stop signs and almost running down pedestrians to get to Corey to confront him. We find out he isn’t a cop, but that Quinlan called him in and that she knows all the pertinent details around Jane’s connection, that she’s just playing the odds now, waiting on one of the 5 women to crack. (So I was right that Jane would confront him, wrong that he’s undercover, but right that Jane is seriously messed up over this betrayal of her trust. Guessing that title “She knows” definitely applied to Quinlan after all, eh?)
Quinlan and ML are reviewing these tapes of Celeste in her police interview from Trivia Night (in black) and another deposition, in a blue sweater, where she addresses the fact that there may be inconsistencies in her stmts. 

The ladies meet. Madeline goes after Bonnie, saying it’s her fault.
Bonnie in a police interview, saying something about running at him… Then writing in her journal, talking to her dad
Madeline talking to Ed, but she can’t really tell him anything, so it gets awkward, as  he knows she’s keeping secrets. 
Celeste, looking at the ocean, the boys come out to join her.
Madeline drives over the bridge to meet with Renata. M wants to tell Ed. R tells her she can’t.
Jane and Corey at work. She’s ghosted him, he confronts her, makes a joke to the kids.
Bonnie and her mom. B imagines smothering Elizabeth. 
Celeste going into court. ML makes her “family” comment. Judge wants to hear testimony from Celeste. Katie tries to get Celeste to keep it together in the parking lot. 
Doc says nothing more can be done for Elizabeth. Bonnie asks if they can kill her. Doc and her dad are mortified. 
Renata and Gordon in their empty house, talking about court, then the nanny says good-bye to them, tries to collect her severance, R tells her they will get her… But it’s out of their control now.  
Jane and Ziggy on boogie boards. Corey shows up. He confronts her again. 
Court. Madeline apologizes to Bonnie. Bonnie realizes that the lie is getting to Madeline too. Celeste sworn in. ML’s attorney, Farber, digs right in. Makes her feel bad, then takes it another notch with the slides of the men she’s slept with. He drops the bomb about Josh having told his grandma about an encounter with one of the men. “I tried to wake mommy up, but I couldn’t and the stranger told me to go back to my room.” Which leads to her Ambien admission. And then Celeste speaking directly to the judge. Then Farber asks her if she’s ever been violent with the kids or her mother-in-law, then if she pushed her husband down the stairs. Celeste holds it together pretty well, IMO. Quinlan looks over at Bonnie while this is happening. Celeste continually twists her own wrist. 
The women talk. Katie tells Celeste she has to redirect to undo some of the damage. Bonnie imagines herself standing up and saying that *she* pushed Perry.
Quinlan reviews pics from Trivia Night.
Tori and Ed at a cafe. She tells him she’s ready and willing. Ed doesn’t turn her down.
Madeline in the car. Remembering. She walks in, trying to talk to Ed. He looks weirdly at his computer screen. I really wanted to see what was on it. Lol 
Jane at Mary-Louise’s door, telling her to call it off. Jane defends Celeste. ML asks her if she’s struggling… Jane screams at her through the door. ML blasts her music over Jane’s yelling.
Celeste tucks the boys in, starts swigging vodka. Remembers Perry. Remembers the other men. Puts vodka away. 
Ed, Abigail, and Chloe arrive home with dinner. Madeline is in the bedroom in her wedding dress, dancing. Ed is wooed by what M just told him. 
Water vision, cut to Bonnie sleeping. Elizabeth gets up from the bed and tells her to go towards the light. Nathan wakes Bonnie, Skye plays a song from Elizabeth. Bonnie remembers scenes from when she was small.
Celeste, getting ready for court. Court. The judge makes her explain her sexual behavior and why she stayed with Perry. Farber gets up to question Celeste again. Switch to Bonnie’s perspective, she imagines standing up, then we’re in the hospital room again. Bonnie picks up her journal and reads a list of grievances to her mother. She stops short of saying she doesn’t love Nathan. She says out loud that she killed Perry. I hope the room isn’t bugged… I’m glad Bonnie cleared her conscience. 
Celeste snuggling with the boys, remember Farber talking about Max bullying Amabella. 
Bankruptcy court. Renata gets to find out the *fun* way that Gordon was screwing the nanny. Insult to injury. Renata’s f-bomb tirade, culminating in showing tissues in Gordon’t mouth. So great!
Court. Celeste interrupts the judge, saying that she wants to call a witness, Mary-Louise. I think she finally remembered what you were getting at last week, Axel, that SHE is a lawyer. She needs to handle her business in her way.
